ESB LANDS - 3.5 Acres at Gweedore, Co. Donegal

Expressions of Interest Request

Expressions of Interest are invited from all parties for the purchase and redevelopment of the above lands (The former Power Generating Station Lands) at Gweedore, Co. Donegal, by way of a 999 year lease. The power station proper has been demolished and the site has been remediated to a specified standard.

Interested parties are asked to confirm their interest in these lands and to provide outline details of the following which will form part of the assessment criteria:

• Nature of proposed use and / or development proposals and track record in such development
  
• Track record in dealing with brown field sites and associated environmental issues
  
• Availability of suitable resources for and proposed development of the lands
  
• Anticipated level of local employment arising out of any proposed development
  
• Any other information considered relevant

Suitable parties will be invited to submit tenders in due course.

All Expressions of Interest proposals marked "Gweedore Site" to be submitted by 3pm on the 12th January 2010 to the Procurement Manager, ESB Energy International, Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2.

• An méid fostaíochta atáthar ag tuar a chruthú go háitiúil de thoradh ar an bhforbairt molta
  
• Aon eolas eile a mheastar a bheith ábhartha
